Green Juice or Coffee?

Hone worked with a publisher to present a "Which TV Mom is your mom like?" quiz. Launched on mother's day, the quiz achieved engagement levels above 88% by asking fun questions, along with some that revealed personal preferences.

After a series of lighthearted questions about people's relationship with their mothers, we showed four drinks: wine, coffee, green juice, and milkshake, and asked people to choose one. Given the current health movement, one might expect green juice to get between 10–20% of answers, but with this publisher's audience, it got less than 2%.

This sort of insight informs the publisher for both content and sales/advertising purposes, giving them first-hand targetting information.

Game of Politics

To kick off their coverage of the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 4, Hone worked with an entertainment publication to ask audiences "Which Game of Thrones Faction do you support?"

The quiz topic and publish date was perfectly timed, with over 700,000 impressions and 100,000 unique completes, the high-performing interactive feature was the tent pole of their GoT coverage cycle.

Amongst light-hearted and show-related questions was the question "Your favorite president of the last two decades?", with former heads of state as the options. Due, in some respect, to its placement as the last question of the quiz, Over 98% of those asked answered this personal question about their political preference.

Interactive Events

Beyond the web, Hone worked with an exhibitor to bring interactivity to an event expo. Hone combined wearable technology with personalization to bring interactivity and engagement to yet unseen levels, Hone was able to identify each person via the bracelet and cross-reference their answers to each Hone in real-time, personalizing their experience in the event based on their answers.
